Dr Linda Steynor – Chair
Linda is the Chair of Governors, Thorpe St Andrew School and Sixth Form, and Chair of the Thorpe St Andrew Educational Partnership. She is a linguist by training, with an interest in linguistics and semantics. Her professional background is in strategic governance and school leadership.
Mr Ian Clayton MBE – Chief Executive Officer
Ian is the Principal of Thorpe St Andrew School and Sixth Form and Chief Executive Officer of The Yare Education Trust.
Mr Alfie Gotts
Alfie has had a career as a Banker with Natwest for 37 years, latterly supporting small businesses as Director of Business Banking in Norfolk and Peterborough. He has also served on the Board with Norfolk Chamber of Commerce.
Mr Peter Harwood
Peter is a retired Electronic Design Engineer and currently holds a post as an Independent Foster Panel Chair, and is also a Governor at Dussindale Primary School.
Mr Owen Jenkins
Owen is a Civil Servant and works for the Department for Education, specialising in schools funding. Before this, he was a member of the senior management team for Children’s Services at Norfolk County Council and in this role he had extensive experience in the issues facing both education and children’s social care. He has had a variety of experience in the private sector where he worked as the head of the margin assurance division for KCom Plc and as an auditor with Ernst and Young LLP. Owen is a Chartered Accountant with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland (ICAS).
Mr Peter Lamble
Peter is a qualified Accountant, National Leader of Governance and former Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Start-rite Shoes. He is also the Chair of Governors at Hillside Avenue Primary and Nursery School.
Mr Paul Tacon
Paul has over 30 years’ experience in the Life and Pensions industry and is currently the Chair of Governors at Hemblington Primary School.
